Product Overview
The Trimec ES8000, also known as the V-lock, is a powerful motorised bolt that transitions from a vertical to a horizontal position when secured. This bolt slides into the V-shaped strike plate, ensuring the door is perfectly aligned with the lock. The high-torque motorized bolt can be installed either concealed or surface-mounted and features the world’s first fail-open motor locking mechanism. Its sleek design, combined with a satin stainless steel faceplate and a generous 7mm door misalignment tolerance (+/- 3.5mm), makes the ES8000 both visually appealing and easy to install.

- Side Load/Pre-Load Capable: Unlocks even with up to 15kg of side pressure when wired in 3-wire mode (permanent power, negative return, and switching input).
- Accommodates Door Misalignment: Tolerates misalignment of up to +/- 3.5mm.
- Configurable Locking Mechanism: Can be set to Power to Lock (Fail Safe) or Power to Open (Fail Secure).
- High Torque Performance: Motorised locking and unlocking with rapid response time (unlocks in less than 1 second).
- Surface Mount Kit Available: Ideal for 180° swing-through glass door setups.
- Versatile Installation: Suitable for interior doors in both vertical and horizontal orientations. For exterior doors, horizontal mounting is recommended to prevent water ingress.
